In 1940 the technology presented a very good idea: create a mobile phone! First, the taxis, police cars and other emergency vehicles use this invention. But a few years later, in 1983, the Motorola Company introduced mobiles in the store. Throughout history these devices have improved.
Now there are incredible and fantastic mobiles!

The young people use the mobile phone for different reasons. Firstly they phone the friends or family. Secondly they send messages. Also they play games, listen to music and watch videos.

3. Are mobile phones used in the same way in different cultures? Give two examples

The use of the telephones varies according to the country.
If we go to Africa or some poor country, we will see that the people don't use mobile phones. Also, it depends on the culture, we can see that the mobile has different uses.
In Chile, arrive in the middle of the 90, the demand by cellular was increased in the Chilean population.
First the Motorola brand was the one that invaded the market with its “bricks talking” as it was called because of its size. Then , the predominant company was Amistar de Telefónica of Chile and the company Bell and later was gotten up with the models Nokia, Ericcson and Samsung the companies Entel Chile, Clearly, Movistar.

4. Do mobile phones affect your privacy?

In my opinion, I think that the mobile phone is necessary in some situations. For example, if you have an accident, you can telephone the police. But, this advantage affects our privacy. So, I believe that the solution is the phone when we are eating or doing a personal activity. Also, we can see the identity of the person that phone us. The mobile only will our privacy if we want.
